Using Linkr

These Terms of Service govern your use of Linkr, a digital card and contact exchange service operated by Screen. By using Linkr, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must be old enough to enter a binding agreement where you live. Linkr is not intended for children under 13.

Your account

You are responsible for the information on your account, keeping your sign-in details secure, and activity carried out through your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has accessed it. We may suspend or close accounts that are used to abuse the service, break the law, or put people or Linkr at risk.

Your cards and content

You keep ownership of the content you add to Linkr. You give Linkr a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, store, reproduce, format, and display that content only as needed to run, secure, and improve the service and to show cards you choose to publish.

You promise that you have the rights needed to add your content and that it does not violate another person's privacy, intellectual property, or other rights. You are responsible for the accuracy of your card and for choosing what to make public.

Acceptable use

Do not use Linkr to:

• Impersonate someone, mislead people, or create a card for a person without permission.
• Harass, threaten, defame, exploit, or target another person.
• Send spam, scams, malware, unwanted promotions, or unlawful material.
• Collect or expose contact information without a lawful reason or the person's permission.
• Probe, scrape, reverse engineer, overload, or bypass security or access controls.
• Break any law, regulation, or third-party platform rule that applies to you.

Public cards and exchanges

Published cards are public and may be viewed, copied, or shared by other people. Contact visibility settings reduce what is displayed, but they cannot control information that someone has already received or copied. Exchange sessions are temporary, but a card kept by another person may remain in their collection until it is removed.

Reports and moderation

You can report a card or other content through Linkr. We may review, restrict, remove, or preserve content and accounts when we believe it is needed for safety, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or these terms. We do not promise to review every report or monitor everything before it is seen.

Third-party services

Linkr relies on services such as Clerk for authentication and Convex for application data. Links or integrations operated by third parties are governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services or content.

Availability and changes

Linkr is provided as it is available. We may change, pause, or discontinue features, including free features, and we may limit access to protect the service. We will try to give reasonable notice for material changes when practical.

We may update these terms as Linkr changes. The updated version will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use after the update means you accept the updated terms.

Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Linkr is provided without warranties about uninterrupted availability, accuracy, security, or fitness for a particular purpose. Linkr is a contact-sharing tool, not a verification service. Check information before relying on it.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Screen and Linkr will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business resulting from use of the service. Nothing in these terms removes rights or liability that the law does not allow us to exclude.
